ART & CRAFT FOR KIDS








CHILDREN EXPLORE SOUND AND COLOUR, TEXTURE, SHAPE, FORM AND SHAPE IN TWO AND THREE DIMENSIONS. THEY RESPOND IN A VARIETY OF WAYS TO WHAT THEY SEE, HEAR, SMELL, TOUCH, AND FEEL. THROUGH ART, MUSIC, DANCE, STORIES AND IMAGINATIVE PLAY, THEY SHOW AN INCREASING ABILITY TO USE THEIR IMAGINATION TO LISTEN AND TO OBSERVE.THEY HAVE A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS, SUITABLE TOOLS, INSTRUMENTS AND OTHER RESOURCES TO EXPRESS IDEAS AND TO COMMUNICATE THEIR FELLINGS. A TEACHER SHOULD NOT DOMINATE OR STIFLE CHILDREN’s CREATIVITY. THEY HAVE A VITAL ROLE TO PLAY IN A CHILD’S CREATIVE EXPRESSION. THERFORE, IT IS IMPORTANT TO VALUE THE CHILD AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CHILD TO DISCOVER AND DEVELOP THIS INDIVIDUALITY. WE SHOULD KNOW THAT CHILDREN CANNOT BE TAUGHT TO BE CREATIVE, BUT CAN BE GUIDED TO DEVELOP THEIR ABILITIES. WE SHOULD REALIZE THAT CHILDREN MUST BE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES THAT ALLOW THEM TO EXPLORE, EXPERIENCE AND GAIN CONFIDENCE TO EXPRESS THEIR IDEAS IN A WAY THAT IS UNIQUELY THEIR OWN.


ART IS NOT JUST A HOBBY; IT IS A FUNDAMENTAL ASPECT OF HUMAN BEHAVIOUR WHICH INVOLVES INTELLECTUAL AS WELL AS EMOTIONAL EXPLORATION, EXPRESSION AND COMMUNICATION. LEARNING THROUGH ART AND CRAFT IS  THE MEANS OF DEVELOPING CREATIVITY AND IMAGINATION AND TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE CHILDREN TO DISCOVER AND DEVELOP THE INDIVIDUALITY IN CHILDREN. CHILDREN EXPLORE SOUND ,COLOUR, TEXTURE, SHAPE, FORM AND SPACE IN TWO AND THREE DIMENSIONS. THEY RESPOND IN A VARIETY OF WAYS TO WHAT THEY SEE, HEAR, SMELL, TOUCH AND FEEL. THROUGH CRAFTS CHILDREN LEARN MATHEMATICS, LANGUAGE, SOCIAL AND PERSONAL, CREATIVE AND EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL AND FINE MOTOR SKILLLS AND ALSO THEY CAN  UNDERSTAND THE WORLD. THERFORE, CRAFTS SHOULD BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE CURRICULUM, WHICH PROVIDED IN A RICH AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT.

THE FIRST ONE IS CRUSH PAPER WORK

THINGS NEEDED FOR THIS WORK  ARE  CRUSH PAPER / KITE PAPER OF DIFFERENT COLOURS , GLUE OR ANY ADHESIVE AND  OUTLINE  OF A  PICUTRE OF YOUR CHOICE





  • FIRST, WE HAVE TO TEAR THE KITE PAPER INTO SMALL PIECES AND THEN CRUSH IT USING THUMB AND INDEX FINGER. MAKE IT AS SMALL BALLS AS MUCH AS YOU NEEDED FOR THE PICTURE YOU HAVE TAKEN. 
  • THEN   APPY GLUE ON THE PICURE AND PASTE THOSE CRUSHED  PAPER ON THE WHOLE PICTURE
  • AFTER COMPLETING THE PASTING  ALLOW IT TO DRY FOR SOME TIME. 
  • THIS WORK WILL BE REALLY INTERESTING AND IT REALLY GIVES A LOT OF WORK TO THE FINGERS AND THE KIDS WOULD REALLY ENJOY IT. 






I PREFER  KITE PAPER FOR THIS WORK  AS IT IS VERY EASY TO CRUSH AND TO PASTE IT   ON THE PICTURE 









 THE NEXT ONE IS BIT PAPER PASTING. FOR THIS WORK WE NEED OIL PAPER / COLOUR PAPER, SCISSIORS, GLUE / ANY ADHESIVE AND OUTLINE OF A PICTURE.





FIRST CUT THE OIL PAPER INTO SMALL BITS PREFERABLY SAME SIZE. THEN APPLY THE PICTURE WITH GLUE AND  PLACE THE PAPER BITS OVER THE PICTRE WITHOUT LEAVING ANY EMPTY SPACES ON IT. AFTER FINISHING IT ALLOW THE PICTURE TO DRY. 










NOW, I HAVE SHARED WOOL WORK. THINGS NEEDED  FOR THIS WORK ARE  DIFFERENT COLOUR WOOLEN THREAD , GLUE AND AN OUTLINE IMAGE OF OUR CHOICE.

FIRST WE HAVE TO APPLY  GLUE ON THE PICTURE AND THEN PLACE ONE TIP OF WOOLEN THREAD ON TOP OF THE IMAGE. THEN  EXTEND THE THREAD TO THE BOTTOM. NOW, CUT THE THREAD AND PASTE IT ON THE IMAGE BY SIMPLY PRESSING IT ON THE GLUE. LIKE WISE WE HAVE TO DO ON THE WHOLE PICUTRE WITHOUT LEAVING ANY SPACE












NEXT ONE IS BUTTON WORK FOR THIS WORK WE NEED DIFFERENT COLOUR BUTTONS WHICH ARE USED ON SHIRTS, GLUE , CRAYONS  AND AN OUTLINE IMAGE OF OUR CHOICE. FIRST COLOUR THE IMAGE AS YOU WISH AND THEN APPLY SOME GLUE ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE BUTTON AND STICK IT ON THE PICTURE WHEREVER IT IS NEEDED.AFTER COMPLETING THIS ALLOW IT TO DRY



















THIS IS CHAMKI WORK. FOR THIS WE NEED DIFFERENT COLOUR CHAMKIS ACCORDING THE IMAGE WE HAVE TAKEN. FIRST APPLY GLUE ON THE PICTURE AND PLACE THE CHAMKIS IN ORDER WITHOUT LEAVING ANY SPACE AND ALLOW IT TO DRY FOR SOMETIME AFTER COMPLETING IT. THIS WORK NEEDS TIME AND CONCENTRATION  TO FINISH IT PROPERLY. BUT IT LOOKS REALLY ATTRACTIVE.




THE NEXT ONE IS PENCIL SHAVING WORK. FIRST TAKE THE PENCIL SHAVING OF DIFFERENT COLOUR PENCILS. THEN APPLY GLUE ON THE PICTURE OF YOUR CHOICE AND PASTE THE PENCIL SHAVINGS ON IT UNIFORMLY.  FINALLY ALLOW THE WORK  TO DRY COMPLETELY.











CHOCOLATE WRAPPER WORK







FOR CHOCOLATE WRAPPER WORK TAKE THE CHOCOLATE WRAPPER OF DIFFERENT COLOUR / VARIETY / SIZES AND FEVICOL. THIS WORK IS VERY SIMPLE TO DO AS IT CAN DONE JUST BY FOLDING OR BY PLACING KNOTS ON CHOCOLATE WRAPPERS WE CREATE DIFFERENT SHAPES. FINALLY PASTE THOSE WORKS ON THE CHARTS AND ALLOW IT TO DRY. 




THE NEXT ONE I HAVE SHARED IS GLASS BANGLE WORK. FOR THIS WE NEED BROKEN GLASS BANGLES OF DIFFERENT COLOURS , FEVICOL AND AN OUTLINE OF A PICTURE OF OUR CHOICE. BREAK THE GLASS BANGLES ACCORDING TO THE SIZE OF THE PICTURE WE HAVE TAKEN. APPLY GLUE ON THE PICTURE AND ARRANGE THE GLASS BANGLE ON IT WITHOUT LEAVING ANY SPACE AND ALLOW TO DRY.















THIS ONE IS SCRIBBLING WORK. THIS IS  QUITE SIMPLE AND KIDS WILL REALLY ENJOY IT. THIS WORK INVOLVES CURVES HENCE THIS WILL REALLY HELP IN WRITING. FOR THIS WE NEED A PICTURE OF OUR CHOICE AND SKETCH PENS OF DIFFERENT COLOURS.  FIRST, TAKE SKETCH PEN ACCORDING TO THE PICTURE AND SIMPLY SCRIBBLE ON THE PICTURE EVENLY WITHOUT LEAVING ANY EMPTY SPACES. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT SCRIBBLE ON THE OUTSIDE BORDER OF THE PICTURE.












THE NEXT ONE I HAVE SHARED IS GLITTER POWDER WORK. FOR THIS WORK WE NEED GLITTER POWDER OF DIFFERENT COLOURS, GLUE AND AN OUTLINE IMAGE. FIRST APPLY GLUE ON THE PICTURE AND THEN SLOWLY SPRINKLE THE GLITTER POWDER ON IT. TAP THE PICTURE GENTLY TO REMOVE EXCESS POWDER. AFTER COMPLETING THE WHOLE PICTURE ALLOW IT TO DRY FOR SOMETIME.






THE  NEXT ONE I HAVE SHARED IS BINDI WORK. FIRST TAKE THE PICTURE OF YOUR CHOICE AND COLOUR IT WITH SUITABLE COLOURS . THEN TAKE BINDI OF SAME COLOUR OR DIFFERENT COLOUR ACCORDING TO THE PICTURE TAKEN AND STICK THE BINDIS AT APPROPRIATE PLACE ON THE PICTURE. 













THIS ONE IS COTTON WORK. THINGS WE NEEDED FOR THIS WORK IS A ROLL OF COTTON, GLUE, WATER COLOUR AND A PICTURE OF OUR CHOICE. FIRST APPLY GLUE ON THE PICTURE . TAKE A THIN LAYER OF THE COTTON  AND PASTE IT ACCORDING TO THE SHAPE OF THE PICTURE. FINALLY COLOUR THE REST OF THE AREA WITH WATER COLOUR. THIS WORK REALLY NEEDS SOME PATIENCE BUT THE FINISHING  WORK WOULD BE REALLY NICE .



THIS  IS THUMB PRINTING . WE NEED WATERCOLOURS AND A PICTURE OF OUR CHOICE. FIRST WE SHOULD GET READY WITH COLOURS BY MIXING IT IN THE WATER  AND THEN DIP THE CORNER OF OUR THUMB IN THE COLOUR  AND DECORATE THE PICTURE USING THE IMPRESSION OF THUMB.THIS WORK WILL BE REALLY INTERESTING AND KIDS WOULD DEFINITELY ENJOY WHILE DOING THIS WORK.
